About this platform

This platform maps Victorian public sector governance frameworks for procurement and financial management. The editorial position: governance frameworks exist to protect outcomes, not to create compliance overhead. Understanding purpose leads to better practice.

What it does

The platform provides two tools:

• Explore maps governance instruments - legislation, standing directions, policies, frameworks, and state purchase contracts - showing how they connect and when they apply.
• Plan takes your procurement parameters and produces a phased governance roadmap: which deliverables you need, what requirements apply, and in what order.

What it is not

This is not official government advice. It is one practitioner's interpretation and analysis of publicly available governance frameworks. Always verify requirements against source documents and consult your organisation's procurement team.
